Manglore monsoon

I hope you have been doing well this evening, I wish to celebrate the monsoon rains of Manglore with you all today. As I sit to start this post, the rain continues to embrace the earth in Manglore and continues with all the glory and majesty.

I shifted to Manglore for a specific purpose this week and couldn’t stop getting enough of Manglore rain!

From the moment of my arrival, till this moment, I have not seen it stop!

well, sometimes it does show mercy and start to drizzle but that’s not all about it!

The rains bring out the beauty in the nature like she admires a good makeup. The land which was dry with the sun‘s blazing rays finds water to sink in and gulps it for first few hours atleast!

Then when she is satisfied enough, you can see the water flow through in forms of small water bodies!

Well, I am glad that I am a person who enjoys rain and that brings us to the few snaps that I captured from the moment I arrived!

Early on a Friday morning, the city is drenched in the rain from the last night and the continuing pour down.

As I am used to banglore rains, my brain said give it an hour or two It will settle down but guess what, I was supposed to get used to the Manglore rain which continued to follow through the whole day and night and continues to do so as I write.

The mist filled mornings in Manglore not only make it hard for you to wake up in the morning but also adds additional grumpiness to your day( Nobody likes to travel when it’s raining)!

The early morning hot tea and some Manglore buns made me feel better about it and also for some time made me enjoy the rain better!

After having this energising drink, I thought I could escape the reality for sometime! How often do we get to have a tea which is so perfectly designed with appropriate sugar and tea powder! Though I am not a tea person, couldn’t stop myself from asking for more and they were kind enough to provide me with more! This kindness of the people made the place more beautiful!

Well after a day that seemed to be long enough to be engaging, I finally reached my stay and I couldn’t have asked for a better view from my window!

As I got used to my view, I felt exited to see more of such beautiful wonders and I was not surprised to find many!

As I reclaim the beauty of this place being enhanced by the rain and the people, I couldn’t stop wondering if I had landed in some sort of a heaven!
